The P&C is launching a new fundraising project - a cookbook. We are aiming for this to be a beautiful book filled with the sharing of wonderful food and musical ideas, and also one which strengthens our school community. We are asking people to donate a favourite recipe - one that is tried, tested and loved. We would also like you to suggest a piece of music you enjoy - ideally one that may sit well alongside your recipe, but otherwise just a favourite piece. We are hoping that from a school of musicians we will end up with a compilation of interesting music, and may possibly create some kind of playlist from these pieces to go along with the book.
A note on recipe copyright - apparently 'ingredients' are deemed as technical and not subject to copyright, whereas the 'method' is creative and therefore subject to copyright laws. If you are using a recipe from an other source, you can acknowledge the original author if you like (eg say 'inspired by a Donna Hay recipe') but please change the language substantially so it is written entirely in your own words.

If there is a story behind your recipe/music choices and you would like to share this, please add this in the 'About this Recipe' section. Your email address will not be published, this is just so that we can contact you if we need to ask any questions about your submission. We are planning to publish family names though, so if you don't want this done you could label 'submitted by' as anonymous.
Finally, if you can help us with the creation of th is book there are many ways you will be able to do this and we really need your help - proof reading recipes, marketing and sponsorship and testing recipes to name a few. This is a big job, but many hands make light work. And if you work in, or know of a business who may like to sponsor us, we would really love to hear from you! Please contact us below:
