We offer a number of scholarships.

Students are welcome to apply for more than one scholarship but only one scholarship can be held.

The Emorgo Scholarship for music

To be eligible for the Emorgo Scholarship for Music you must be:

  • commencing Year 7 at the Conservatorium High School as a member of the school’s Junior Vocal Stream and either continuing with, or taking up,  study of a woodwind instrument or French Horn

OR

  • be a student in the junior school (Years 7, 8 and 9) majoring in the study of a woodwind instrument or French Horn

One scholarship will be awarded.

What does the Emorgo Scholarship for music provide?

The Emorgo Scholarship for Music will provide financial support up to the value of $5,000 to support the study of wind instruments (including French Horn) and to assist with expenses related to musical studies. These expenses may include musical tuition, the purchase of a woodwind instrument or French Horn (must be an instrument relevant to studies at the Conservatorium High School but need not be the student’s major study), educational software, school levies and other costs relevant to educational outcomes.

J Holden Family Foundation Scholarship for music

The Public Education Foundation’s J. Holden Family Foundation Scholarship for Music was established support talented young musicians attend the Conservatorium High School by defraying the cost of the school’s music program. The scholarship is offered to a student whose financial circumstances warrant the assistance this scholarship can provide.

Who can apply?

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

  • an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • commencing Year 7 at the Conservatorium High School
  • able to demonstrate financial need for this scholarship
  • committed to completing secondary education up to the Higher School Certificate at the Conservatorium High School.

Up to four scholarships will be awarded.

What does the J Holden Family Foundation Scholarship for music provide?

Recipients of J. Holden Family Foundation Scholarship for Music will receive a one-off financial award in the amount of $3000 on their commencement of Year 7 at the Conservatorium High School.

The scholarship funds are to be used for the student’s direct educational benefit by assisting with expenses related to their studies at the Conservatorium High School. These expenses may include musical tuition, the purchase of an instrument, educational software, school levies and other costs relevant to educational outcomes.

Patricia Long  Conservatorium High School Scholarship

The Public Education Foundation’s Patricia Long Conservatorium High School Scholarship was established from the proceeds of the Estate of the Late Patricia Long. This scholarship assists gifted young musicians attend the Conservatorium High School by helping to defray the cost of the school’s music program. The scholarship is offered to a student whose financial circumstances warrant the assistance this scholarship can provide.

Who can apply?

To be eligible for the award of Patricia Long Conservatorium High School Scholarship the applicant must be:

  • an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • current or commencing student at the Conservatorium High School
  • able to demonstrate financial need for this scholarship
  • committed to completing secondary education up to the Higher School Certificate at the Conservatorium High School.

What does the Patricial Long Conservatorium High School Scholarship provide?

The recipient of the Patricia Long Conservatorium High School Scholarship will receive financial support in the amount of $2500 for each year s/he remains enrolled at the Conservatorium High School.

The maximum period of support is six years. The scholarship holder will receive the scholarship for the duration of his/her enrolment at the Conservatorium High School on condition that s/he makes excellent progress in studies and maintains an exemplary attendance record.
